“The Gleaners and I: Revisiting Agnès Varda’s Edit” is a platform that features nearly 60 hours of raw footage, drawn from award-winning director Agnès Varda’s documentary The Gleaners and I (Cannes 2000). Students from universities around the world are given the opportunity to view and download the raw footage and create clips as they see fit, as part of their school curriculum. La Fémis, a leading film school in France, signed on to the project and the platform was opened to students in Fall 2024.
