The Paris-based production company Ciné-Tamaris founded by the Varda-Demy family reached out to the team at TAKA PR to spearhead a publicity campaign for their new project: “The Gleaners and I: Revisiting Agnès Varda’s Edit”, an innovative educational initiative, which allows film students from all over the world to dive into the celebrated documentary and edit their own short film.

The Gleaners and I: Revisiting Agnès Varda’s Edit” is a platform that features nearly 60 hours of raw footage, drawn from Award Winning director Agnès Varda’s documentary “THE GLEANERS AND I” (Cannes 2000). Students from universities around the world will be given the opportunity to view and download the raw footage and create clips as they see fit, as part of their school curriculum. La Fémis, leading film school in France has already signed on to the project and students will be able to use the platform starting the Fall of 2024.  An official website has been created for the occasion: www.gleanersandi.com
